Directions :Highlands Nook can be reached from either the Nottingham
Road side (for traffic from upcountry) or more usually via Underberg and
Himeville. The Loteni-Himeville road from Nottingham Road is tarred for
the first 20km but thereafter is poorly maintained gravel for an extra
50km. Do not take this road if there have been heavy rains. The route from
Himeville is only 27km of dirt and in better condition. Either way, take
the D6 turnoff at the top of the mountain ridge between the Loteni and
Umkomaas rivers and follow signs for a further 5km to the Highland Nook
campsite and cottages. Please note that the cottages have gas facilities and that there is no store nearby. Bring all your consumables or buy at Himeville on the way up Book this Cottage Now
